Autentico stainblocking primer is a high-quality, solvent-free insulating primer for
interior and exterior use.
Designed for various uses, such as preventing uneven suction in the base of walls and ceilings (after repairs). Or before painting timber prone to bleed through and blocking stains caused
by a reaction to tannins found in wood such as mahogany, oak, chestnut, and pine when in contact with moisture (" bleeding through").
Stainblocking primer is available in white (for use when painting light tones on top of primer) and grey (for use when painting darker/heavy tones on top of primer).
We recommend the use of stainblocking primer before painting with Vivace (required), Versante Eggshell (required) and Versante Matt (optional). For Velvet, Venice and/or Volterra
only when there is a risk of uneven suction (for example, when walls have been repaired).
